| It's my laptop and I don't see any buttons to turn up the brightness. Actually it's not my good laptop just one that I got going today for an extra computer.

| That is where I looked and found nothing. Mine is in the F buttons too, Rosey.

| I know that I've turned up the brightness before............the F6 and F7 didn't work. I expected some type of window to open. UGH!

| My laptop has buttons to lower or raise the light. Have you tried going into the control panel. You should find something in there.

| Try Googling your laptop manufacturer name and screen brightness or contrast.

| That is where I started lookings first and couldn't find where the adjustment was located. The last time I had this laptop repaired the first thing they did was increase the brightness.
