Yorkie Talker | Yorkie Sweaters So yesterday I went into target and found the cutest little sweaters and shirts, for cheap! No more then 2.50$ They had all kinds and sorts of colors, but when i got to the register the girl was quite rude and voiced her opinion saying she thinks its beyond wrong to dress dogs up in clothing as i was purchasing the sweaters! I was in shock, does anybody else on here find it wrong or do you find it necessary? |

| Where I live it is necessary to have fleece hoodies, jackets and sweaters on hand for Bella. She would freeze without them. There are rude people out there, we all have a right to our opinions but in this case I would have told a manager. You are a paying customer who doesn't need to be criticized for what your purchasing, I don't think Target would look to kindly on a cashier treating a customer in this manner.

| I agree with ArabellasMom. That clerk had no right to speak to you like that. Some people are so dead set against a dog wearing clothes, but you didn't ask for her opinion and she shouldn't have given it. Sorry, after finding such deals, you had to be let down that way. I'm sure your baby is going to be very thankful for the new sweaters!

| I would have been livid. That is just flat-out rude. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but as she was interacting with a customer, she really should have kept her thoughts to herself. I would've asked to speak to her manager!

No Longer a Member | I would have spoken with the manager, if I could control my attitude with her. I'm really good at sarcasm...but usually after the fact. A lot of little dogs are more comfortable wearing a layer more than their fur provides to keep them warmer. In my climate my house gets really cold. If I'm just in a sweater and Rizzo doesn't seem bothered I wont put anything on him, but if he starts shaking or digging up under my blanket (or trying to climb into my sweater) I'll toss a sweater or a shirt on him and he just seems to be more comfortable that way. Though it is hard to find a shirt/sweater that can fit his length...maybe I should look at clothes for dachshunds You had every right to take advantage of that awesome sale without being berated about providing your pup with another level of comfort. Bet she doesn't think twice when she sees people buying choke chains for their dogs. |

| Where I live they don't need clothes all of the time, but there are certain times of the year that they need a sweater or fleece hoodie when we go for walks. Mine don't like to wear clothes but if they did I'd sure dress them. I say to each their own. If you want yours to wear clothes, go for it. I wish mine liked to wear clothes. They really do look cute when they are dressed. And the rude people they can...I'm sure you know the end to that sentence.
