| Sick of Baseball Anyone here as sick of baseball, football, fantasy football, or any other sports as I am? Just wanted to know I wasn't the only sports widow on the planet.

| Maybe I'll let Copper have the remote, minus the batteries of course!

| Yes! I am sick, sick, sick of baseball/football and all the other balls involved! I do not miss my hubby so much(been looking at him 30 years already!) But he monopolizes all our tv's! He's watching some kind of game downstairs and taping another one upstairs! UUUGGGHHH!!! In the car loud sports blaring on the radio! And what is it with turning up the volume everytime some play happens? Then there's "sorry, Kim, can't go out to eat since there's some game on!" And it always is "The BIG" game!! (every one of em)Then if we do go out it's at some restaurant with big tv's(i for one am tired of eating wings!!) I really love eating while my husband stares over my head at a wide screen television! Well, that is my rant! thanks for listening! Hope your sports widowhood gets better, mine won't unless hubby goes into a coma!!

I don't mind the sports, it's soccer that gets on my nerves. I HATE it. No one at home cares about soccer one lick, but when the world cup comes around.... all of a sudden the TV always has some stupid soccer game on, my mom buys a jersey (even though she doesn't really get the game) and all the boys in the house are glued to the tv. I'm so glad it'll be a while until the next big soccer thing. By then I hope to have moved out and can watch nothing but movies instead of soccer games.

| I don't mind watching football- in fact I enjoy it usually. But I don't watch any other sports... they just don't keep my interest! lol. I use to play softball, tennis and basketball as a kid and enjoyed playing but not watching!

| Basketball and football, I don't mind. I think baseball is boring, but I'll only watch it if it's for the Giants. I'm glad he mainly watches those 3 sports though. But what I can't stand is watching POKER on TV. He can watch it for hours -- I mean, what's so appealing about watching a bunch of (mainly) men sitting around a table and getting dealt cards |

| I still can't figure out if I like football or not. I think I am still traumatized from my childhood. Lol I have 2 older brothers and they always talked me into being the center and hiking the football during their front yard games. I had to move fast! Seriously, why is it that my dh yells when his team makes a touchdown? They can't hear him............but I sure can!. We also have surround sound.....need I say more?
