| Sometimes I cannot find words for this day. My (now ex) fiance was in NYC at the WTC the day before this happened. He is also a firefighter and went to NYC again for the memorials of all those fallen firefighters. (We lived in MA so he was on call to go to NYC to help out if the state of NY needed help MA was going) This day left a hole in my heart. I did not know anyone who actually was in the towers or didn't make it out personally, but it does not matter. My heart hurts for the family and friends of those who were taken that day. I know if my fiance had been there one day later my life may have never been the same or the unthinkable may have happened. I don't know why we were spared. Although he is an ex now I'd rather him that than not being here on this earth. Today is a sad day, I still cry about this tragedy when I see news footage, those poor people and what they went through to try to survive.
