| Practical Jokes My friends and I have a tradition of plotting elaborate practical jokes on each other. Unfortunately, I usually don't have time to enjoy mine before they get me back...I am easy to 'get'. example...during a get together to commiserate over an awful day, we decided to 'redecorate' Marlene's house while she was at work to cheer overselves up. She has a lovely farmhouse with a big porch with gorgeous hanging baskets of flowers all along the front. We redistributed the baskets at various spots (swingset, trees, chicken coop etc.) and departed for our homes chuckling at the thoughts of her consternation. My phone rings and it's Marlene crying, because her husband is enraged and flipping out over what the 'rotten kids' down the street did to the baskets and he is heading down to their place to have it out with the neighbors. Of course, I confess instantly and am hollering "TELL HIM IT WAS ME!" on the phone, she is sobbing saying he is already walking down the road to the neighbors, so I jump in my car to head him off. I don't see him anywhere on the road so I pull up to the house and there they are on the porch laughing their fool heads off at me in bare feet with a dishtowel in hand and how easy I was to sucker. This is just a first in a long series of strange things we do for amusement, (Don really wasn't happy when we dyed the goat green for St Patty's Day, but he got over it and became part of the crew). Anybody else do pranks for fun??? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOL !! OMG - that was WAY TO GREAT HOW SHE GOT YOU BACK !!! Tell your friend I want to shake her hand !!! I think I just posted this somewhere - I had this macho dude always hitting on me at work...He always bragged how he graduated from UT.....and he LIVED on AOL Instant Mess and was always talking to women etc....We were friends but he was sooooo MACHO ! One day I created my OWN Bumper Sticker and taped it to the back of his car before he left for the weekend ...he was driving to San Antonio to meet a girl there - about 300 miles The Bumper sticker was GREAT - I used the University of Texas Longhorns Logo and in HUGE letters it said....I'm from UT and PROUD TO BE GAY. I have pictures of his car somewhere on my puter - my WHOLE company (about 40 people) watched him drive away that day laughing our butts off |

| The bumper sticker was GREAT! I'll have to try that one. We pulled a birthday prank on a friend whose husband had an art show the same day.. we made copies of famous art with her face plastered on and labeled them Kelly Lisa at 39, Kelly de Milo at 39, etc. and scattered them throughout the show among the 'real' paintings. It took her awhile to understand why everyone was congratulating her for being such a famous model.. anybody else??? |

| Hey Sylvan - I'm not quick enough on my feet, but one of the best ones I've ever witnessed wasn't so much a practical joke as it was funny!! A few years back I worked at a BIG company - I'm talkin' 7000 people in the building! There was a lady that almost everyone in the building had to deal with at one time or another who was a REAL "B" ! She was just plain mean and nasty!!! Evidentally she had POd someone in shipping and one day she came out to find her entire car shrunk wrapped! I happened to be going to my car and saw her find it. She totally lost it. Yellin' and cussin' like a true Jersey girl! She called the cops, but I don't think they ever found who did it.
