| Traffic!!! Oh my gosh!!! Since school started back traffic has been brutal and mental I'm ready to pull my hair out. I'm late for work EVERY single day. I leave earlier and earlier and NEVER make it on time. This morning my GPS said I'd be 12 mins early and I ended up being 5 mins late! I commute 26 miles one way to work and then 26 miles home. 24 miles of it is highway. The last 2 weeks both highways I take have been backed up sooo bad and now construction on one of them. I'm out of my mind!!! Luckily tomorrow is my last day of work before vacation and then I don't have to do the commute for 19 days. I pray at least the construction will be done by the time I get back! I HATE my commute!!!!

| I hate traffic too! I'm glad you are going to have a nice long break from your commute. I'm lucky enough that I live close enough to work that I can avoid highways if I choose, but there is still traffic. I hope you have a great vacation! Anything fun planned?

| I hate traffic as well. I sit in it daily! As far as I'm concerned there are too many car's and not enough roads. I travel 12.7 mi each way going across a major bridge in NY. It takes me 40 mins one way in regular traffic and on Thurs and Fri night during the summer it takes me 1hr to go home! 1 freaking hr to go 12.7mi. Talk about stress. Plus I have to pay to cross the bridge for this stress Let's not forget the driver's. Where do they come off honking their horns when there is miles of car's sitting waiting to move forward. Where the he$$ do they expect you to go! Are we not sitting in the same traffic? It's insane. Ok, that did make me feel better getting it out |

| Oh yeah, we went to petsmart last night because I had to buy a new carrier. The one I had for them the last time we went is too small for them now (weirdly because they were over 2 years old the last time we went). Fletcher is my incredible growing yorkie! He is crossing into 10lb territory, which is fine with me, but at 15 months he was 6.2lbs! LOL Last summer he was 8.5lbs... now he's almost 10lbs and he's long and skinny! He just won't stop growing! Well anyways, they like thier new carrier so much that Fletcher actually slept in it on his own last night for about an hour! woohoo!!!! It is REALLY nice! I'm so happy with it! They will be comfy for their flight for sure! The trip to PetSmart was a trip though! A hellish trip! There was a doggy training class going on and my Fletcher is OBSESSED with other dogs. He was yelping sooooo loud until the trainer came over and told me to let him come in and meet the other dogs because he was so pitiful. Then he was trying to crawl under the shelves to get to the dogs. TORTURE! LOL He was cracking me up though, he's sooo determined! And hes soooo handsome with his new do!

| I live about 55 miles away from work. People always ask me how I can stand to drive so far every day. I just tell them that while they are sitting in traffic in town trying to get the kids to school and fight through to get to work, I'm breezing along at 70 mph. I leave my house at the same time as some of my co-workers and don't have to fight the traffic. That doesn't count though the frustrating times I'll get behind a huge tractor or 18 wheeler hauling some huge piece of equipment. Those times drive me crazy but it's definitely not a daily thing. Now, if I didn't have to use so much gas to get to work it would be a great commute! Enjoy your vacation!

| Oh yeah! When the commute is good, it's fine. 25 mins if there is no traffic at 70mph! Traffic this week and last week have been brutal though. I know today will be just awful because when I leave at 5 I'm done. So of course it will be bumper to bumper 1hr + ride home! Its always the case! LOL I smiled the whole way in today as I was 10 mins late again because of traffic! LOL
