My husbands has been watching Fox news channel and they are showing it all over again. I don't know how he can watch it.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I've been watching all the news coverage too this morning - it really makes so many other things seem so trival compared to what people endured during these awful times...We can only hope that our world gets better. |

| Thank you Villette! I have to say this year is particularly hard since I am now in NY. Being in AK I somehow felt so far away but now I know many people that were directly affected. It is a sad day. |

big smile on my face when I saw all those trucks coming to help from Mexico. It has been 150 years ( since the mexican american war) that they have been on our soil in this form. There are so many good people out there and we get caught up in politics. Did you read where there was a SWAT team from Canada that were the first on the scene to help the people of Katrina. When no one could get in, they somehow found a way and they were all the way from British Columbia. We have done alot for people around the world and now we know just how wonderful it is to get the support when we need it. Just maybe this will soften the hearts of ALL people in all countries and some good will come of it. P. S. Villetee if Ohio State (my home) had to lose to any team I'm glad it was Texas (your hometown) since they have had the biggest heart in welcoming the victims of Katrina. God Bless Us All and the World will get Better!!

| We really have gone through very terrible times in the last couple of years. We need to pray for all those who seriously need it. We have to thank God everyday for what we have and not worry about the small trivial things in our lives. We are so fortunate!

| I have a cousin who lost a brother-in-law in the 9/11 tragedy and whose father lost a home in Katrina. These two tragedies have hit home with such a wide cross section of Americans. God bless us all! Lisa

Let us also remember our soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq.... We had a call this morning that our Brigade lost a soldier on patrol in Baghdad this morning. My heart is thinking of his parents today....Sept. 11th...and their son is in Iraq because of Sept. 11th...and this happened on this day also~ Lives changed and they continue to change...
