| pregnancy question i hope this question isnt innapropriate but i cant ask anyone else. i took a pregnancy test the day before I was supposed to start and the day after...both negative...could it be a false negative? I had protected sex(bc and condom)11 days ago but I am on acne meds so it may affect the strength of the bc...i was supposed to start wednesday or thursday and I did have a bit of spotting but nothing more which scares me...that is extremely unusual, like never happened before...also im sooooo naseous! im scared, help! could i be pregnant?i kno its unlikely but im still a lil nervous...

| Well, the only form of birth control that is 100 % effective is to not have sex. So yes, it is very very possible. Not probable, but possible. |

| Stress and other things can delay a period. I've had the same thing happen to me. I was freaked. You can always see the DR to be sure.

| lots of different things can affect your period. If the condom didn't break, even if your other meds alter the effectiveness of your BC pill I would think it's really unlikely for you to be pregnant. If it doesn't start in a couple more days try taking another test, the day before and day after could be too soon for an at home test to tell.

| Could the meds have effected your cycle? Also its unlikely you would feel nauseous this early in pregnancy (if you were PG) the earliest I've started with morning sickness is 4/5 weeks gestation, the usual is 6-8 weeks. See you doctor and put your mind at rest!

| Its always possible, but not so likely. If you have any doubts go to your Dr. or Clinic. Most counties offer them at 2 or 3 different places at least in the NE US. Good luck and I hope it all turns out for the best. |
