| What do they call... the metal decorative things that are typically at the top of gates, fences, etc.? They are sometimes really ornately decorative globes, pine cones, skinny and elongated ; I've even seen ones that are pineapples. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | They are called castings. A spear is called a decorative iron spear casting. The shop next door to mine....designs and creates ornamental iron products.

| I've seen some really beautiful ones so I wanted to write it down so I'd remember it when I need an idea for a future photography project theme.
