| The Holidays.... Can anyone else not believe "The Holidays" are almost upon us? Has anyone started any plans for anything yet? |

| How funny that you mention it! I was just thinking about posting the same thing and mention how when I went to Target the other day they had Christmas decorations out already! I love it! On Halloween we are going to a Dolly Parton concert. I'm not doing much for Thanksgiving. My Mom is coming to the city for the weekend on Friday and we are going to see Tina Turner on Saturday! Every year we go to Disney World the week before Christmas and fly home on Christmas Eve. I'll be home in VA for a few days and then traveling some more.

| I cant believe they are almost upon us either...every year seems to go round faster than the one before!! On Halloween i usually go to my daughters and walk around with the grandkids trick or treating. Its been that way for years...On Thanksgiving we are going Camping to Grandfather Mt. in Boone, NC. We go up on Wed. and stay till Sunday. We cook the turkey and all in our campers..I love it! My daughter and her inlaws all have their own campers and we all go together! We started it last year and had such a good time we decided to make it a ritual! Christmas Eve is a big family get together with the extended family (my side) And Christmas is a little more quiet and relaxed at my daughters for dinner...so those are my plans...whos next??

| Already shopping! I was laid off so I have already started to shop for Christmas. I figure that way I can do alittle at a time and not be tempted to use credit cards in December. |

| Me and my husband bought our first house this year and we are planning the dinner at our house! I can't wait to cook a big meal for everyone in my new kitchen.

| Where did the summer go?! I have everyone to our house for Tgiving and Christmas. The way Cmas and New Years falls this year, means basically I will have a full house for about a week and a half. |

| I am so excited that the holidays are around the corner. My husband, daughter and I are doing a week long cruise of the western caribbean for thanksgiving. We'll be in Belize on Thanksgiving day. I am really excited! We'll have our usual quiet Christmas. We love Christmas but our celebrations are more low key than most. It will probably just be the three of us this year so we can just do whatever we feel like. I might actually get a palm tree for our Christmas tree this year. I have a spot in the backyard that I want to put one so we might just bring it in and decorate it before we plant it. I was surprised that my husband and daughter were willing to go along with it but they are.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I went to Marshall's yesterday and they had all the fall decorations, along with Christmas of course, even though I enjoy decorating for Christmas, Fall takes over, I even have my "Thanksgiving tree" (more like a tall topiary) which is going up this weekend. As far as shopping for Christmas, I haven't, I think this year I'll buy only for the kids, we have a big family, so on Thanksgiving day, since we are all together, we'll pick names from a bowl, that way we only have to buy for one family member and can spend a bit more on that special- secret person for Christmas. That does not include Max, but since he is been such a good boy he'll get lost of presents from Santa.

| Well for Halloween, I plan on dressing up Pasquale and bringing him around all my cousin's homes so he can play with the kids...he just LOVES kids! For thanksgiving we're all going down to Florida this year cause we just bought a place down there in April. My Aunt and Uncle already live down there and they are just thrilled we'll all be there to help celebrate this year. And for Xmas......I'm sure Xmas will be huge this year. My cousin who is in the Navy and home from Iraq (not his choice..he was hurt and lost a leg) will be up here and well...lets just say when the cousins all get together.....we need to wear diapers cause we laugh and laugh and laugh! So needless to say..i cant wait for the holidays this year! I just hope i can shop in time for everything!
