YT 500 Club Member | Greatest American Dog???? Okay, for those of you who have been watching Greatest American Dog, were you very disappointed last night? I really don't understand how art can prove the dog is intelligent. Really? Earlier in the show the challenges were pretty good, but this was just ridiculous. Am I the only one who is now seeing this show as a sham?

Therapy Dog Donating Member | I'm TIVOing it and saw it last night..it's not at all what I thought the show was going to be about but I'm invested now in the doggies..they lost so much focus on the dogs and spend too much time on the dog's owner. I didn't like though how Preston's mommy trashtalked that other doggie with the sensitive feet that was just a low-blow and in a way she deserved to go home. I really like that older gentleman and his dog a lot and would hope they win but since it's about the crazy challenges and the owner I have a feeling that his poor Star won't make it to the end.

YT 1000 Club Member | KiKi and I watch the show together!! LOL Getting the dogs to paint was dumb IMO! and I too did not like how Preston's mommy trashtalked that other doggie with the sensitive feet that was just a low-blow..she was trying to get the attention focused on someone else and for that she did deserved to go home.

| I agree that this show is a big JOKE!! I can't stand the holier-than-thou judges and the last competition (painting!!) was ridiculous. How can anyone judge something that a dog painted and say it lacks something? Just C-R-A-Z-Y IMO!

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I agree, it is a big joke. How can they judge the paintings so seriously like that as if they expect the dogs to really know what they're doing I would have just laughed and said it was good fun

| big joke I watched it once and never again. It's not about the dogs. It's about the judges being cutsie. It went the way of American Idol and other shows that turn into show-off fests for the judges being nasty. Too bad. |

| Next week Victoria and Miss I-Hate-Clothing-on-Dogs-Except-For-Mine have a little face-off. Maybe that'll be interesting.

and tell me that was not staged? They each have their own agenda, but I do like seeing the dogs and how they interact with their caregivers. I like Bill and Star, and also think JD and Galaxy are a great team.
