| RIP Randy Pausch Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon Professor and author of The Last Lecture, passed away today after his much publicized battle with pancreatic cancer. His words and life have given me so much inspiration in this past year and I thank him for having shared his life with so many he never met. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and three children.

| Oh my gosh----- I thought he'd make it through this year...... What a miracle that man has been--- talk about a life lived with grace. I'm not sure I could do so even 50 % as gracefully as he did. |

| Wow!!! He was just such an incredible man. He will be sadly missed. For those who dont know him I believe his videos are on YOUTUBE. It is so worth the time to watch. Having lost my mom at an early age, I think it is so awesome what he did for his kids. They will have those memories forever. Rip Randy. |

| I just saw him on a rerun of Oprah. What a great man. RIP. I just hope his words and spirit will continue to live on to help people when they are faced with adversity.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I saw his lecture - HE WAS AN INCREDIBLE MAN. He humbles me beyond words. He took my breath away as I watched him...the world has lost a truly great human being...

| If you were moved by his lecture, please get his book also called "The Last Lecture". It came out in the spring. He makes references to his lecture, tells how it came about, but goes on to detail what was inspiring to him growing up and how he lived his life. Very worth the $.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Ah...not too long ago I was trying to find updated information on how he was doing. He went beyond being an inspiration for just his children. RIP Randy....

| Even though he and his family moved to Virginia toward the end of his life, he still feels like one of our own here in Pittsburgh. God, it's so sad; what a wonderful person. I doubt there'll be an available parking space within 5 miles of his memorial service. |

| So Sad. I'd seen bits and pieces of his lecture on TV and it was great. May he rest in peace. What a legacy he left for his children. |

| He touched my heart like no one has since little Mattie. He was one of those angels God places on this earth to enlighten us all. Unfortunately, he had to face such a fate for us to know him. My thoughts are with his family that he loved so much. May his endearing spirit soar with the angels. I will remember his "lecture" long after this day. Thank you Dr. Pausch! God bless!

| so weird.. as i was getting ready to type this.. a commercial came on to say he was going to be on GMA and the special on tuesday night! i just got the chills.. But i know.. as soon as i heard he passed the other day i felt so sad for his family.. but he truly was a great man and left such an awesome legacy behind for his children! how neat to have touched so many lives! it really breaks my heart though.. for his wife and children.. not being able to spend more of their lives with him! i really thought a miracle would happen and he would be rid of that horrible cancer! but it was meant to be.. and is truly amazing that he was able to make such an impact on so many people! i pray for his wife, children, & the rest of his family! RIP RANDY!
