| Flooding In Indiana Please... There is severe flooding going on all over the State of Indiana I hope anyone who is in these flood prone areas or near rivers are okay and can get to shelter safely. In the next Big City to us (16 Miles from us) it is flooded no way in or no way out and the interstates from our City to that City is closed...They even had to evacuate the Hosptial there. It is bad. All the rain is moving down our way so please remember all of those here in Indiana going through this flooding Thanks and Hugs Lee |

| TeddyandTiffy, I live in Newburgh, next to Evansville down in the southwest corner, about two and a half hours away from you. I wasn't even aware of all the recent flooding until I happened to be watching the news last night. I just knew we'd had no rain to speak of recently so flooding somewhere close had never occurred to me. My heart goes out to everyone in or near a flooding area. I know how scary it can be watching the waters rise and knowing there's nothing you can do. I still remember all the bad flooding we had down here back in the early spring. I don't personally live very close to an area that would flood but I have many friends that do and of course, everything down this way runs straight to the Ohio. I'll definitely keep everyone there in my prayers. Hopefully the waters will start to recede soon. - Byron |

BANNED! | I pray everyone in Indiana will be safe. I also want to remind those in that area that once the flooding stops and the water sits stagnant please be careful of Giardia!! Flooded areas are a breeding ground for Giardia so don't let your furkids drink water that has been sitting around on the ground! |

| We are flooding here in our City now and the flood stage is 12 feet we're at 21.3 feet. We beat the record flood stage set back in 1913 @ 21 feet. The leavy broke not far from our house so I spent the day yesterday taking my Yorkies OUT of oil in case we have to evacuate and I don't want them going past their days for baths due to being in oil. If we do have to evacuate I will go to one school (Set up this way as shelters) with my Yorkies and Hubby will take my girls to the other school. I will NOT leave my YORKIES alone. Scares me to death. Hubby says we won't flood here at our house but I still fear we will as we are suppose to be getting 2 more inches of rain tonight and I don't know what they'll get up North of us (Indy and above) this is our problems it all flows down to us and we flood after they all do. At the other end of our City they evacuated houses right and left...It is so sad and hard to see others go through this. You can go here and view the photos in our City...These photos are taken all around our City...There are 3 pages of photos. We're at the other end of the City. Tribtown.com- powered by SmugMug What is: Giardia???? I will NOT let my YORKIES outside at all if we do flood here in our house...I'm scared to death of it all now! Thanks for all your thoughts, prayers and concerns. Lee |

| Thanks everyone for your prayers and concern. So far so good. We didn't get much rain last night but I don't know about upstate how much they got...That's what hurts us also. We'll see. My Parents and Sister live in Norman also well not in Town, if the water gets really high then they will have no way out to our City. It will go over HWY 50 and lot of people never have seen it go over HWY 50...altho yesterday it was 2 to 3 feet from that HWY... Now I wonder about later this week if up North received a lot of rain. I called My Parent and Sister Sunday Morning to tell them they all better get out and get what they needed now incase it does rise. With flooding it's a guessing game, you just never know...One minute the rivers are going down and the next they are rising. Just have to keep a eye on it. Please keep us and the other States that are flooding in your prayers Lee |

| I've have some good photos you would not believe how bad it really is in our City and just up the roads from us. I mean like 5 minutes away. What I have tho is from my Daughter and it's through Adobe Acrobat as a slide show and I don't know how to get it here for each of you to view. (If anyone can tell me how to do this please tell me) This slide show really tells the story and what some of our town people are up against. I think we will be back flooding again by this weekend??? It is so very sad and heartbreaking to see all this going on around you. Please keep praying for anyone who is going through the flooding in ANY State. Lee |

| Lee, sorry you are having all of this around you. I watched your first slide show of pictures, and just hate it for everybody that it is affecting. I am somewhat familiar with Seymour....seeing pics really puts it into perspective. I'm sorry I cant help you with your slideshow, but would like to see it if you are able to get it uploaded. We will keep you in our thoughts and hope it doesnt get any bit closer to you! STay safe!
