| ink stain - HELP! My two sweet puppies were chewing on a pen and it exploded leaving ink stains on the floor. Does anyone have any tips on how to get the stains out. I've tried everything!

| Try spraying it with hairspray and then blotting it up. Don't rub or you will spread it. Good Luck!! You might want to take before and after pictures so you can see your progress.

| Oh, no!! Is it a regular pen or a gel pen. It usually works pretty good with regular ink. Never tried it will the gel ink. Yikes! Did you try googling it?

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | It's the alcohol in the hairspray. I've always used alcohol and it will sometimes just disappear. If heavy, you will have to continue blotting up with paper towels and retrying. Good Luck!

| You can try a solution of 50/50 hydrogen peroxide and water. or try club soda-it cleans up a lot of stuff, not sure of ink though.

| It's gel ink unfortunately. I don't even know how my two got this pen.

| The hydrogen peroxide doesn't fade the carpet?

| I had light grey carpet when I used it for some spots, so it really didn't matter to me. Didn't know what color carpet you had, try it on a hidden piece in closet? The mixing dilutes the peroxide.
