| More crappy news I turned on the air for the first time last night and guess what? IT DIDN'T WORK It was 80 degrees in my house so I set it on 75 and it never came on. I checked the breaker box and even went outside to check the breaker box on the side of the house that operated the unit. NOTHING. So now, on top of the stupid IRS - I may have to replace the unit. I've got a call in to a repairman now. Thank God it's rainy and cooler this morning. I HATE to sweat

| Oh that stinks! It's true AC is a necessity in the South. I'll be hoping it'll only be a small problem for you! Doesn't it sound funny to be happy it was raining this morning tho! lol |

| I hate to sweat to. Luckily, it's not too hot here in CT. We are hoping for 70's by the end of the week. But we do have AC units in our house for the hot and humid days. We don't want the dog to sweat! Hope your AC gets fixed before the hot weather returns and also hoping it is something simple.

| Are you sure it's your unit and not the thermostat? What values are set into your thermostat? Some will kick on with a 1 degree temp difference but some will kick on with a much larger temp difference like 3 or 5. If you have a programmable thermostat you might want to check those values. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | girl - I really hope it's nothing - you don't need that expense on top of the stress of the freaking IRS ......(Which stands for I REALLY SUCK) (that should be how they answer their phones) I made that up but it's the best I can do right now - did it come on ? I'm in Houston and have barely used mine but I do know it works and if it didn't I'd freak too |
