| Help w/ PowerPoint Presentation! I took a PowerPoint class at my job (they always offer free on-site classes basically on anything (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Our homework assignment in due in about 6-8 weeks (we have to do it when we get some down time at work). I'm really excited about it because I'm doing MY presentation on my favorite subject ... DOGS!!! It's going to be about 10 to 15 slides. I'm incorporating some pictures of Codie, Tia and Cali and so far it's coming out so adorable!! Anyway, I want to do a section on spaying and neutering and I'd love to attach this video clip to it: Does anyone know how I'd go about saving that on my computer? Once I do that I'm good because I know how to attach video clips to my PowerPoint slide. Also, if you guys can think of anything I can use in my presentation, I'd really appreciate it! I'm doing sections on: Meal Time Play Time Bed Time Exercise Discipline With Love Health & Vet Care -- should these be 2 seperate slides? Spay & Neuter I want to add a few more. Plus, I also have a title slide and a conclusion slide. So I need approximately 13 slides because the title slide and conclusion slide with give me a total of 15.

| Will you have access to the internet when you are showing the presentation? If so, then you could put the link on the slide to click on or embed it similar to how we do it here on YT. I'll keep trying to figure it out...

| Yeah, I'll have access to the net. I'd rather figure out a way to attach it but if I can, then I'll just end up using the link. I've been playing around with it for a while and still no luck.

| I completely understand..If it was mine, I'd rather have the actual video clip play in powerpoint as well. I really have no idea though. I'm playing around with it right now trying to figure something out. I thought maybe if you email the video to yourself, it might give you the option of saving it before your email program opens..but mine doesn't, just takes me right to youtube's website

| Ok I will explain how to do it below but before that you need to have the video saved on your computer. 1. Have the slide that you want the video on ready 2. Go to Insert 3. Select Movies and Sound 4. Choose Movie from file 5. Select the movie/video that you want 6. Select if you want it to start automatically or on click on mouse And that is how you get a video on a power point. If you have any questions you can PM me. I will try to get it for you and Pm you.
