| Caffeine Withdrawls I haven't had any diet soda in 5 days and I am absolutely miserable! I have terrible migraines, dizziness, I'm exhausted and grumpy lol. Have any of you been through this? My dad told me it's very common and can last a few weeks |

| Good for you! Keep it up! You can do it!! About five years ago, I stopped drinking cokes (mtn. dew was my addiction) cold turkey. BUT I had a root beer the other day....omg!!....now, I crave one! It's tough, but I know it is sooo worth it!

| It's probably much more due to your body withdrawing from the artificial sweeteners than the caffeine. If you've gone 5 days now, you should be feeling better within the next two-three days. Hang in there, it will get better and you will feel much better!!

| I wish that I could stop. I used to always drink Dr. Pepper and then I decided to switch to Diet Dr. Pepper and that took me a little while to get used to. Now, I cannot stand regular Dr. Pepper (too sweet!!) and I am thinking of making the switch to caffeine-free D.P....then, I ultimately, want off soda completely! I also get Migraines so I understand where you are coming from. Keep up the good work...hopefully,I will be right there with ya one day. Tammy |

| Thank you guys, it is so so tough. I took an excedrin migraine which I know has caffeine and it helped a little. My DH bought me a diet pepsi trying to help, as I was whining *lol* -- I took one sip and dumped the whole thing out, it just did NOT taste the same. It's amazing how our taste buds can change so quickly! |

| Now, I find drinking coffee helps me to lose weight...I drink almost a pot a day, and then I pee all day, but, I drink it black..I tried going one day without the caffeine, got a terrible headache and decided giving up my coffee wasn't going to happen...good luck...take some deep breaths in and out of a paper bag, that's supposed to help with the migraines.. |
