| Been gone Hi all! Been away from YT for WAY too long!! Have had a lot going on in my life since last February. Lost my FIL to cancer almost a year ago (will be one year this Sunday). Although we knew he had cancer, and had for about 6 years, it was totally unexpected as he was doing so good. This was the first "death" my boys had to deal with and it was pretty hard on them - and us all. I then was offered a job with the hospital here in town - was not looking for anything as I was happy with what I was doing. But after much thought and prayer, I accepted and started it in April. I'm manager of a very busy clinic owned by the hospital and most days, I don't know whether I'm coming or going! I couldn't get in YT during the day due to firewalls and could only get here at night. But after working the new job all day, then baseball with my youngest, there was hardly any time to get here. Then we experienced computer problems at home and it was real slow - I'd pop in every once in a while, try to look at pictures and stuff and it took forever! I finally just gave up and read what I could - and forget posting!! That would have taken longer! Then total devestation struck on January 3rd. My older sister (52 years old) suffered a heart attack at home! So sudden and unexpected. I rushed to Pensacola on the 4th and my BIL, going with her wishes, removed her from life support on the 6th. We had just been together 6 weeks earlier for Thanksgiving. It still has not sunk in that my sister, my best friend and confidant, is gone. But I'm comforted in knowing where she is. I hope things have settled down for a while and I can spend more time in here, a place I dearly love and enjoy being. No need to reply, just sharing where I've been and why I haven't been here. Happy Valentines to you all - you are a GREAT group and I'm proud to be a part of it. Suzi

Got it and thank you so much - you brought a tear to my eye reading your message and the information shared - you are so sweet and special!! And thank you all for your replies! I am getting through this, as anyone who's lost a loved one can attest to, one day at a time. Not to make this post any longer or sadder but I also lost my best friend from Pensacola on Tuesday of this week - 44 years old And this past Saturday, one of my boys' friends committed suicide - they've had a really hard time what with losing their aunt last month and now a very dear friend, they don't understand the situation with John-Dustin but we are talking about it and they know we are here for them as well as their friends - they are really bonding together with them. I'm ready for the saddness and tragedy to be over so we can make 2008 a little better! Have a great day all!
