| Code of conduct on YT?? I am fairly new here on YT and I am just wondering what in your opinion should be the way to behave and post here? I know there are formal written rules but when posting what are the unwritten rules? |

| I would use common sence and respect. Think twice before responding and if you feel you want to strangle someone leave the thread and go to another |

| I agree too!!! Walking away is really hard for some people to do!! (including me) I have had people make really rude comments to me and I never reply....it's just not worth it!

| That seems simple but sometimes there is a subject matter that one feels passionately about. I know I have in the past posted angrily, then I feel terrible. and apologize. It just hits a nerve! |

| Most of what is discussed here is opinion. Since each of us believes OUR opinions are RIGHT we fail to understand that everyone else who posts here also feels the same way. I try very hard to keep negative opinions to myself to avoid hurting some else's feelings. Life "outside" YT is hard enough and most of us have enough "yuck" in our personal lives without having more added from YorkieTalk. I have always considered YorkieTalk to be a "safe" place. This is going to sound odd but -- many things we post are FACT to the individual posting. For instance it is a fact - that Canadie is the best food available and MinkSheen is the best shampoo. That is a tried and true FACT for Chattiesmom. I have well tested many brands of food and shampoo and it is a FACT that they are best for my dogs, however they might not be the best for others. When someone posts questions about food and shampoo - I can only honestly say that Canadie is a great food and it works me and that MinkSheen is a good qualith shampoo that works for me. My motto is -- Just because I have the right to say/post something - saying/posting that thing may not be the right thing to say. I live by that motto in my private live as well as in my YT life and try very hard to refrain from posting fact/opinion that will be hurtful to others. |

| Very well said Carol. I know there have been times when I have written something just to delete it or just taken a deep breath and checked out.
