| Prayers for my Grandma Last wednesday my grandma had a small mini-stroke at work. Just some confusion and blurry vision and slurred speech but after it was over she was back to her normal self. My mom took her to our GP the next day and he did an MRI and found a small aneurysm in her brain. So she has an apointment with a neurologist today to discuss a course of treatment for the anuerysm (maybe radiation or surgery). Needless to say I am scared to death. AND since my grandmother is raising my cousin Jennie (14) she is still working at the age of 70. Because of the risk the doctor won't release her to work (which she is very upset about with the holidays as she manages a resturaunt and gets paid hourly). So now I'm scrambling to come up with the $$$ to get Jennie christmas and facing the possibility of raising a teenager so that my mom can retire with my grandmother to her house in the country. So I would appreciate any prayers you could send my family cause I think we're gonna need 'em. And thank you for giving me a place to come where I don't have to think about everything thats going on and being like another family to me. For the last couple of days I have felt my mailbox just radiating with love everytime I open it and pull out YT Christmas cards. Luckily for Jamie I bought all of his Christmas first so he is set. Let me know if you have any ideas on what to get a 14 year old for Christmas. You guys are the best.

| Sending prayers your way. I do so hope that your Grandmother makes a full and speedy recovery.... ...as for your 14 year old cousin, Jennie, I don't have a clue. That is such a tough age. |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I'm so sorry about this. Your family is in my prayers. I'm a 14 year old, and all most of us want for Christmas this year is somewhat expensive stuff haha. I would say you can't go wrong with a gift card to the mall. And also if she has any special interests, get her something that has to do with that. I don't really know what I want for Christmas, so I'm not much help. Sorry. Best of luck to your family.

| I am so sorry to hear that your grandmother is having difficulties and I will keep her and your family in my daily prayers. As for the Christmas present, I have found with my own young ones to buy for that they really do prefer the gift cards, as EVERYTHING gets marked down after the holidays and they can have fun buying all sorts of things. Perhaps you might go to your local Mall and purchase an all inclusive gift card that covers all the stores in that particular Mall. Maybe even wrap it with a little something personal ... like a DVD or CD? |

| Thank you all sooo much for your prayers and support and gift ideas. I wanted to give you all an update after her doctors appointment. The doctor she saw did a second MRI and says that she does have a small anuerysm behind her right eye, but that he thinks it can be handled with medication. BUT he does not believe that the aneurym is what caused the mini-stroke last week (He said the aneurysm was just a lucky catch on the GP's MRI! Real funny.) Anyway so he referred her to another neurologist and he will be making her an appointment with that doctor (hopefully before Christmas). I'll be sure and let ya'll know what date it is so we can all pray really hard! Thanks!
