| Beware: Reseller in Stoneham, MA I just left the home of a lady with an add on boston.com for a teacup yorkie puppy. Now I know the whole 'teacp' term issue, but I called the number to get more info anyway. I asked a few very specific questions. Q: Do you have the parents and/or grandparents? A: No we do not have the parents, they are with my Mom's best friend. We're just helping her out to sell the pups. Q: Can I get information on them, pictures, and speak to the owner of the parents? A: Yes, the pup comes with a family tree Q: You realize the term 'teacup' is not real right? A: What do you mean? I have never heard of that, I use it all the time. I was very hesitant to go see the pup, but I went anyway. Sure enough I get there and ask questions.... now I am told the pups parents are in IL and this pup was shipped from there. They have sold several puppies from this lady. Um yah, which means they're buying puppies nd reselling them. So right away I said no thanks. I then took the printout I had on teacp yorkies and how they don't exist and gave it to them as an FYI. I think they were kind of upset, but hey I was there and they needed to know the truth!! All and all, just wanted to give people a heads up about this family. Beware! |
