| Great to hear that Mocha is loving this snow - we have enough of it. Wilbur loved the snow for one night and now he won't go out in the cold at all. He seems to really enjoy his new sister. They play up a storm, it's so cute and it's so wonderful to see him running amok and playing with another dog. I have already noticed changes in his personality - it's cute. One of the people who bought a yorkie from Charlene sued her last week in court and she won. She isn;t sure if Charlene will ever pay her back but it was a victory just the same. I am thinking of suing her too. Keep in touch and give Mocha a belly rub from his sister!

| That is awesome that she won! Maybe Charlene will wake up and realize how bad this all is. And, I love that Wilbur is enjoying his new sister. Watching them play is adorable. Well, I gotta run this morning. But thanks for the update, and you should consider suing her...she never sent papers, lied about the health of your pup, etc. have a great day and enjoy the two little darlings |

| I bought missy from seashore yorkies 6 1/2 yrs ago. One year later she almost died from pancreatitis. She had 2 more bouts of it. 4 months ago she developed collapse treat, which is congenital. I had to put her down 2 days ago because she could not breath. I am trying to get in touch with seashore to let them know that I am very upset. She was nice, but she did get paid well for Missy. Unfortunately she died of poor breeding. Heartbroken |

| I am so sorry for your loss I am so sorry for your loss of Missy. I can't even imagine how horrible this is for you. Having a sick pet is such a heartache. Please accept my condolences. To the best of my knowledge Charlene Pelley at Seashore Kennels has been living in Woonsocket, RI., since she was driven out of town in 2008. On 11/29/2010, she and her husband are filing for bankruptcy, Chapter 13, at the Federal Center Court House on Westminster Street in Providence, RI. She is scheduled for an 11:00 AM session. I hate this woman like poison. Again, my sincerest apologies for the loss of Missy.

| Hi I found more info online on this kennel mentioned in these posts above. There was a link to an article from the cape cod times posted in the first thread but I found these too. Are we aloud to post links? I did not think so, so I am copying and pasting The Board of Health received an email from Jennifer Bowman, Director of Development for the ARC of Greater Boston, who stated that she is interested in pursuing Seashore Kennels in court. Jennifer Bowman stated that she adopted a puppy from Seashore Kennels on 6/03/08 that was suffering from an ear infection, and it also started vomiting within 24 hours after she took ownership. The puppy has not had one week of life without visiting the emergency room. The final diagnosis for the puppy was inflammatory bowel disease and lymphagiectasia, both being congenital, and will require a lifetime of treatment. Ms. Bowman wants to shut the Pelleys down, and asked for support from the Mashpee BOH. |

Glen Harrington stated that Veronica Warden is continuing to monitor the Pelley property at 171 Falmouth-Sandwich Road, for any signs of activity. Kalliope Egloff stated that until the Pelleys sell the property, she felt that the BOH should continue to monitor the property. Should the Pelleys return to the property, retroactive action could, and should, be taken against the Pelleys. |

| UPDATE: Apparently Charlene is keeping her name off the websites for her dogs now but I happened to find her RI number and google it. It came up with this site: Providence Teacup Maltese Puppies Company! This is CHARLENE / LYNN PELLEY!! Stay away!! |

| Thank you all for these posts. I was going to pick up a puppy from Charlene on Tuesday and luckily searched her name and address before I did. She goes by Shawna now, but still uses the Charlene Pelley email, along with shawnap7878@gmail.com email. It is definitely her, as she mentioned loosing her home in Mashpee and moving to RI, plus she gave me the same Woonsocket address listed above. I found her on Breeders.net Again, thank you for taking the time to post and let people know to be safe! |

| Seashore kennel I brought my Josie from Charlene Pelley in July of 2007.. I have had no health problems with her at all... I was shocked to read the articles on her... I found her to be the best breeder ever... my Josie mother's name was also named Nelly... The reason I was looking her up is because I am interested in buying another yorkie.... My Josie is now seven years old.. And still doing very well.. I am having a hard time locating her... Does anyone know if she is still breeding? |

I am glad you have had such great luck with your Josie. I have been extremely fortunate with my Mocha. But I refuse to pass along information for a breeder that has developed a reputation of selling sick dogs. She has been chased off of Cape Cod, been investigated for her puppy-mill style breeding, has changed her contact name several times, and there are numerous people whithin this thread that can vouch for her sick pups. By buying another yorkie or dog from her, you are supporting her and subjecting more dogs to sick conditions. You are asking the wrong group of people for her info. | |
