The comfort that you all offer with your kind words means so much.

There is a special understanding coming from other Yorkie families.

We went to the UKC dog show today in Novi, MI.
My husband thought it would be too painful and was surprised I asked to go.
But I wanted to be around dogs and dog people. It really cheered me up.

Of course, the next painful phase in all of this is now learning to be without Molly Muffins.

Around 6pm I looked at my watch while we still at the dog show and I thought-'oh-we need to get home to feed Molly right away!',
but then reality hits and so does another wave of sadness.

I'd give anything to have my girl back.

I just hope we did the right thing at the right time...everyone says we did, but it is so hard to rationalize and accept.

It can sure break our hearts in 1/2 to loose such a beloved family member. I'm so sorry for your loss. Takes a lot of time to get through this.

Know though your baby had the best of care, seeing things most of us humans never got to see. I know if I could afford to travel, I wouldn't go without my babies too. So I can tell yours was very loved!

As I write today, I have tears in my eyes.

Today would have been Molly Muffins 11th birthday.

I miss my girl soooooooooooooooo much.

It's only been 3 weeks without her...
