| Hanna's gone We just lost our 2 yr old yorki. Totally unexpected. The vet has no answers for us. Why would a perfectly healthy Yorky die in the course of 12 hrs. |

| Autopsy is a must....preferably by a school of vet medicine. I am so sorry....it is heartbreaking when we loose these babies and it is a senior or a pup that is suffering with a disease process....but when they die unexpectedly, at such an early age, there are questions that must be answered, for your peace of mind. Also, your breeder should be notified of this....she needs to know as this could very well be something in her breeding program. |

| I'm so sorry for your loss. :'( Did the vet offer to perform a necropsy? I know it won't bring your beloved pet back, but maybe having answers will help get you closure.

| I'm very sorry for your tragic loss. Were there any symptoms present? When I was young we had a year and a half old collie who suddenly got sick and passed away the same day. We had and autopsy done and discovered that our Holly had encephalitis. I hope some day soon the happy memories you have of Hanna will overtake the sadness you are now feeling. Hanna will live forever in your heart.

| I am so very sorry than you lost your Hannah at such a young age. There could be so many reasons so a guess would not help you. What were her symptoms over the 12 hours you mentioned? My heart just breaks for you and you are in my prayers.

| I seem to be having trouble navigating this web site. I've tried to respond to the replies to Hanna but I'm not sure anyone is seeing my post. Any help would be appreciated. |
