My friend, Jennifer (PoshPaws) called me tonight to tell me her little Gabbana passed away. Gabby was just 10 months old. She had a major seizure during the night that stopped her precious little heart. Please say a prayer for Jennifer during this difficult time. God speed Gabby.

That is so devestating.

Do they know what caused the seizure? I am so sorry for them and I'm sending good thoughts and prayers to them.

Gabby had a few medical issues, diabetes among them. I don't know if that is what caused the seizures, but when Jennifer called her breeder today to let her know and to also let her know about the $7K worth of vet bills during Gabby's life, the whackjob breeder (who gave no health guarantee) responded she should have put her to sleep months ago!

I know how hard it is to lose a puppy so young. My Duke was only 11 months old. You should have more time to love them.

First off I am sending prayers for your friend.. and thinking of her at this time..

now I have to add.. how can breeders say why did you not put her down months ago.. is she human.. these are the people that really really get to me..should be treated that way just once in their lifetime.. and see how it feels.. sorry.. this upset me beyond..

Jodie...I'm so sorry for your friend and will say a prayer for her. How devastating for her to lose that baby. That breeder must have no heart. How pathetic is she!

That breeder is not a breeder that is worth anything, as a breeder we should always stand behind our puppies. If we don't then they are not much of a breeder. This puppy should be replaced with another puppy from a differant litter. All breeders should have a health guarantee. These puppies do not ask to be born so we that ask that of them should be willing to love them and do everything to take care of them.
