I everyone. Exactly 1 month ago today. I had to let Heaven take my Grizzley Bear. He was 2 days shy of his 12th Birthday.His little hind legs gave out on him.He was 4.5 lbs and everything I could have ever expected. He was pure joy.He began and ended my day. I miss the kisses and the companionship that I truly treasured everyday.Who am I fooling..I miss everything. I love my yorkie and hope eve one in their lifetime gets to experience that unconditional love. Rest in Peace Grizzz!!

I am so sorry for your loss. It hurts so much when we lose a tiny bundle of love that has been such an important part of our lives. My heart goes out to you. Just remember, whenever you feel a little wisp of breeze on your shoulder, it is Grizzley Bear's angel-wings brushing you and letting you know that he is watching over you until you can be together again. Thank You so much for the kind words! My heart does ache and I cry every day. I am very lonely for we shared everything.Letting him go was so difficult but...I could never see my little Grizzley in pain. He always fussed when we went to the vet but, not the day Heaven took him....He was such a "little trooper",so much braver than I. As his little heart beat faded in my ear....I knew that my life had changed. Grizzley Bear was my #1 priority and I was very proud to be his MOMA. I still tell him "Good Morning" when I wake up and "to have a nice day" b4 I leave to work and that "Moma will see him soon" as I walk past his "little box" each morning. Some things are hard to change. He was exactly as you say "a tiny bundle of love ".

Hi Mary. I am so sorry to read about Grizzly Bear. I wish I could tell you that it gets easier, but (at least for me) it has not. Zack, my yorkie, died in May and I still miss him every day. I still talk to him all of the time. We have since gotten a new puppy (Yoyo, a yellow labrador) whom I love, but that has not made me miss Zack any less. In fact, I often tell yoyo about her big brother when I take her on walks. zack and Yoyo are such different dogs, but both were as happy as can be. And, it still hurts. Zack was my best friend. No one (including my parents, wife, friends, etc) understands how much I miss Zack and how hard his death was and still is. He was 2 weeks shy of his 2nd birthday, and my adjustment to losing him was extremely hard. I cannot even imagine how hard it is for you given how long you had Grizzly Bear.

Try to feel better and cheer up a bit. One thing that makes me sometimes feel a little bear is thinking about Zack in "heaven" playing with all of the other Yorkies - just jumping, running, and smiling up a storm.
