| How long before its too long? How long is it ok for my dog to eat to eat the same dog food. I had a very hard time trying to get her to eat dog food at all and now that she's been eating Canidae for about 10 months im afraid to try switching her up again. I am concerned that she may not be getting enough of something by just eating the same dog food everyday even though I give her some meat or veggies every day as well. I was thinking of getting another dog food and mixing in a little at a time. What do you guys think? |

| how long is too long Is Canadie a good dog food? As long as your dog likes it, I see no reason to switch. As long as it is nutritious. I feed my dog Wellness dog food, I always buy a different flavor, that way they never tire of it. Maybe you could stick with the same food and just buy a different flavor next time. Switching dog food can cause tummy upsets, if you do switch brands do it slow, slow slow.

| Yes Canidae is really good quality food. I dont think I want to switch her food all together, maybe just mix 2 foods to make sure shes getting a balance of everything. I dont think shed have much of a tummy problem since we give her human food all the time and she seems to do well with that with a few exceptions. But ye I would definately do a litle at a time. Ive been looking at Merrick's. Any flavor better than the other? |

| Your serving her a really good food, and I wouldn't switch off. You can add veggies, fruits or meat to it to spice it up a little.
