| Teeth Question?? I noticed Cody's teeth last night. he has small teeth on the bottoms and behind those on each side left and right he looks like he has a double set. there are two teeth side by side. will they fall out? and if so how long does it take? or do i need to go to my vet and see what needs to be done for him? ill try to take a pic. |

| Hi, how old is Cody? ...it's quite common for yorkies to retain their baby teeth...I've had both of my boys fixed at eight months old and the baby teeth where removed at that time so they wouldn't have to be put under twice....

| thats a good question. about the neutering we were just discussing i think ill wait and see what happens with codys teeth so if he needs them pulled he wont have to be put under twice. i really dont like the idea of him being under . |

| It probably varies a bit on age but both of mine where ready at eight months....the only baby teeth left was the canines and that's pretty typical....

| Here's a pic of why the canines teeth tend to get stuck....above the toothpick is what we see, below the toothpick is what's in the gum....I was shocked when I saw them...
