| am i a bad mommy... ...for tricking my baby to eat food? i just started mocha on innova since she loved the sample over canidae. today is the second day of it, and she wouldn't eat any of it. so i decided to mix gerber baby food (carrot pureed with water) and mix it with her kibble. she gobbled it all up. my bf says i'm tricking her into eating her food, but i'd rather do it instead of her filling her belly with treats. am i a bad mommy? have you ever done it? on a side note: i also bought the sweet potato puree. is sweet potato okay for them to eat?

| of course your not a bad mommy, you gotta do what you gotta do. When mine won't eat, I do whatever works, sit beside them and hand feed them, pretend to eat it myself, put it on a plate instead of their bowl...whatever works. Heck, I bring Cooper his scrambled eggs to him in his bed on Sundays (spoiled rotten little bugger!!)

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | you are not a bad mommy at all! You did the right thing. Heck, when I'm trying to give my pups medecine or something they don't want, I wrap it in cheese.

| No, I don't think you are tricking her. You are just trying to get her to eat it. But if you keep on mixing it to ween her off of it, just mix a little at a time. |

| I feed my babies Wellness...which has one of the main ingredients listed as sweet potatoes. Also, I just bought them treats made from sweet potatoes. And, if I remember correctly I remember my mom tricking me into eating my vegeatables when I was young...I think it's just a "Mommy" thing to do!
