Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Terrible 2's?? Okay Diggy is exactly 5 months one week today.... So I am assuming in human years that puts him somewhere between 2-3. I have NEVER been thru what I am going thru with Diggy. Bella seriously was always wise beyond her years NEVER gave me trouble. We have changed Diggy's name to Chucky. (the movie childs play) He is clutsey and awkward. If he is sitting on the couch and starting his digging...he just falls off. He is hiking his leg now to pee and will just fall over when doing that. If he turns around too fast he falls over. He eats EVERYTHING in site just in the last week, a colored pencil, chocolate, and raw chicken trimmings (ate thru garbage bag in 2 seconds). He will run as fast as he can across living room to jump in his bed and mis-times jump and runs into the side of it (same with couch) He KNOWS he cannot make it up on the couch yet 3-4 times a day tries anyway face first into front of couch. No matter where Bella is laying he disturbs her and bounces all over her until she gets up and gives him her spot and he will lay there like 5 seconds and off to the next thing.....His newest trick is trying to open cupboard doors. He knows where the snack cupboard is and works at opening that thing with all his mite! Just wondering if anyone else is going through this relentless quest for trouble from their babies???

| We had this conversation last night but..... When Otis was in between puppyhood and big boy, I remember he never did anything slowly. Even turning his head to look at something was wild, fast and hard. He would whip his head around so hard he'd take himself off balance and fall over. Nothing hurt this boy and nothing stopped him. Maybe it's just because he's a boy. I love to listen to your nightly edition of "The Adventures of Diggy/Chucky". Otis is 3 and he's grown out of it, Ollie is 2 and still has a little chucky in him.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | That little stinky McStinkerton! I like your new avatar! Me thinks his little hormones might be kicking in big time and he's exploring his studliness - leaping tall couches, acquiring comfy spots/territory at random, opening new doors etcetera. Oh, my - quelle drama! What a Miva! Marcel certainly has his moments - esp. his "turbo" mood, where he tries his very hardest to "get this party started" w/ Wylie -- hopping/bouncing/growling at Wylie, hoping to instigate some action. It's like he normally runs on puppy fuel, then suddenly, he has rocket fuel on board and he's going to take off if someone doesn't start rockin' with him. He's a pistol. Thankfully, he's also a total lovebug. He literally *leaps* into my arms in the morning for his a.m. lovin' - LOVE it. So, even tho he's 8 mths old (he's developing slower than other pups) - I do think he may be neck-and-neck w/ Diggy in terms of their stages. Diggy sounds too smart for his own good, that's for sure!

| Awww, but he sounds so adorable. Maybe he's just "all boy" and Bella is a girly-girl. I certainly can commiserate with the eating everything stage though. Kalina is a pain in the butt...I spend my day taking stuff out of her mouth. Still, I have to thank her. She found that earring I lost months ago!

| I wanted to add that there are times now when I wish the boys would get fired up. If a good song is on and I start dancing in the middle of the room. I want them to jump down and bust a move with me, but they lay on the couch and look at me like I'm crazy! It doesn't last forever, so Remember every little puppy tale!!

| Enjoy these times because they don't last forever. He sounds like a trip and 1/2. They are so silly when they are puppy's and cute as can be. Bud is 3 1/2 now and a perfect little man. I do miss puppyhood, even though I complained about it. |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Bella will still get jiggy with it! All I have to do is shufflemy feet towards her and stick my hands out and she gets in "attack mode" butt up elbows to the floor and the stare down begins! Diggy, well its hard to relax with him...at any moment a yorkie can bounce on you from any direction! I think heads are is favorite if they are reachable. He is by far the more loveable one, Bella loves but in her own lilttle "diva" way. Diggy he licks my face so hard that his tongue dries out and it just sticks there and wont slide...so there I am with a yorkie stuck to my face and he doesnt mind he just sits there staring at me....I would love to share my "chucky" moments on here every night like I do with paulapoo but I get scared people would be like that poor dog...she doesnt take care of him. He gets into EVERYTHING! and even with kids 12 and 15 if they leave one little thing within his reach its over! He has chewed my laptop charger almost in half, chewed Tannars cell phone, oh and Tannar plays baseball and he eats sunflower seeds and if he drops one seed on the floor or when changing they fall out of his pocket Diggy is ON IT! And trust me for 3.4 pounds...he can seriously put up a fight (and chase too) At what age do they grow out of this phase usually??

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | THAT is so cute. Like a tongue stuck to ice. Does he brain lick? Marcel sticks his tongue all the way up to my frontal lobe.

| Zoey went insane at 4 months. I posted here to ask about terrible twos. She started doing all this naughty stuff that she had never done before. Ripping up pee pads and biting people. There was definatly a "change" at 4 months.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Okay new trick to add to the "chucky" list..... Now when I take a bath he HAS to be in the bathroom....so he waits til I get in and attacks the garbage can and take anything out he can! SO when I get out of the bath usually there is a pile of whatever was in the garbage can at the foot of the stairs! So now I Have to set the garbage can on the sink to be able to take a shower without a clean up session after!!!
