The killer was the Bofu toad. here is a web site that talks about it. http://www.pgaa.com/canine/health/bufotoad.html The Frog was eaten or played with and both dogs got sick. The Poor little Yorkie was killed Pleas read the above Link it tells how to keep the frogs out of your yard and how to Kill them. Humans can get sick too. here are two pictures of the Killers. |

| That's so sad. Poor pup. I am glad we don't have those ugly toads where I live. People who have them in their area better keep a watchfull eye out when their dogs are in the yard. Just something else to worry about. Your Mom must feel so bad. |

| We have them, and I have to go hunting for them at night with my flashlight to catch and dispose of them. I must look a site runny around in my pj's catching frogs.

| I found this too... If your dog comes in contact.... Immediately wash out the animal's mouth with lots of water and take the pet to a vet. In the 1960s, vets in Hawaii treated poisoned dogs with alpha- and beta-andrenergic receptor blockers and atropine sulphate; Nembutal, Metrazol and oxygen were used in one case study. |
