| Could he be teething? Hello. My boyfriend's family has recently purchased a yorkie about a month or 2 ago. I forgot his age, but I believe the pup is to be somewhere between 8months to one year. I have noticed that everytime he sees someone (no on in particular), he continuously tries to bite them. Does anyone have an explanation as to why?

| At 8 mnths he should be mostly done teething. The more likely cause is that as a young puppy he never learned bit inhibition, so he thinks biting is the proper way to play with a human.

| I agree...nipping and biting at the hands is just something that pups do until they are taught otherwise. Try telling her "no" when she does it and give her something else to chew on like a toy.
