No Longer a Member | Onomatopoeia - What does your yorkie say? I just saw a post in another thread and it made me think of starting this one. Wemple posted that Winston said "Erf." I had to say it to agree that sounds like a yorkie soft bark. Chloe, on the other hand, says "Beouf" for her soft bark. I guess she speaks French, and perhaps she's asking for something to eat, LOL! When she's barking at the gardeners, she says, "raowwww." What does your yorkie say? (oh, and we all know everyone will be saying these words out loud to themselves as they're reading this thread! LOL) Last edited by mistyinca; 07-20-2007 at 06:34 AM. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | When he first sees me come home, Ozzie is like AR AR AR AR and "RAH, RAH RAH RAH" kind of like a cheerleader and jumping around just as much. If it's past time to eat, if he's ready to go to bed, or is desperate to get your attention it's more BRUH, BRUH, BRUH. His "affirmative/yes" bark is RUH, RUH RUH. And sometimes he actually SAYS no! Probably more like a Scooby or Astro .... ROOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH. It's hilarious. |

No Longer a Member | LOL!! I totally know these moves/barks. Death shake! LOL...Chloe does this when I tell her "kill it!" and she'll growl arrr arrrr arrrrrrrrrhhhh! and shake it until it is "dead". I've put one of her toys in my mouth and done the same thing...let me say be very careful if you try it and be ready to drop it, because she goes wild! |

| Jake's soft bark is kinda like a rooofff! He doesn't bark much at all, but if he hears an animal outside at night, he will definitely bark then!! He will sometimes bark at people coming in, sometimes not. He mostly gets excited and makes a snorting noise like a little piggy. When I come home, he's sooooooooooo excited, and he runs around in circles in front of me until I pick him up. Then, he covers my face in kisses lol

| Milli and Emma both say "roo roooooo!" In fact, for the command "speak" we say, "Emma, Roo Roo!" They say Roo Roo when they want to play, or when one thinks the other is getting too much attention. They also say "bruff" in a soft bark when they're warning us about something that might be outside in the yard. Emma says "Errphhh" when Milli bugs her-like when she tries to snuggle with her but Emma doesn't want her to. Milli says "mmm-now" when she's hungry and making her food!
