| Color question Allie is 9 months old and still extremely dark. I keep her body cut short and there is no silver she is black. Her head has some silver but not much to notice. Is this normal? Do some yorks stay black? I've never seen a black adult yorkie. Or is it she just hasn't really started changing colors? I'm attaching a baby pic and one that was taken on the 4th...

| I think it takes some time for the gray to show through, but I'm not sure. |

| Both my pups are still very black. Tino is 3 in this photo and he just has hints of grey throughout his coat. The breeder predicted that he would stay very dark. Lola is only a bit over a year...but also still very black as well.
