| Tubby time! Rub-a-dub-dub! Let's talk about bath time! What kind of shampoo? How often? How often for grooming? Etc. I use baby shampoo and a lavender/mint conditioner from Petco that their groomer recommended. I bathe them about twice a week because they both tend to be oily. They're groomed about once a month or so.

| Hunter is almost 4 months old and I just use puppy shampoo from Wal Mart. I really need to get some better stuff. He gets bathed once a week. He hasn't been to a groomer yet. I have been trimming the hairs on his ears, feet, belly myself as needed. |

| I give Murfee a bath at least once a week and use Johnsons baby shampoo. Have used it for 3 years now and not had any problems. Patty |

| Wobie gets a bath once a week. I try to hold off and not give him a bath that often because it really isn't good for their skin to be getting baths that often, but he's just so oily... I use Biogroom shampoo, because I've heard its the best of the shampoos that are widely available, rather than the internet. I use Pantene conditioner. I also use some other human products that work really well on his hair, from Chi and Biosilk.

| I use Target brand "Just Add Water" dog shampoo and conditioner all in one. They have a couple of different scents, but I like the coconut. She looks beautiful when she is done. I bathe her every week. |

| There are many shampoo's to choose from, but not every shampoo is for every dog. I can't give you any personal advice on what I like, but I went and grabed a few reviews for you on shampoo's. MinkSheen is one many people have liked here. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...e+minksheen%22 http://yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85736 http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75814 http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...=%22shampoo%22 Here's also a thread I started about different shampoo's people liked/disliked http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ight=MinkSheen Hope that helps... |
