| Third yorkie to the fun Hi fam I think you guys are awesome!! I am the proud, proud dmommie of twins (Twups) that are 2 years old. I'm considering adopting a 3 year old yorkie that's in a rescue situation. Now, before you ask, this rescue I actually know the original owners (that's a long, long story), but I wanted to know what your thoughts are. I'd love to say my boys are balanced and well adjusted. They are rather spoiled and own their people to a degree. We have done a little pet sitting with other people's dogs and they were fine. |

| Sounds like the ideal situation! You know the dogs past, you are familiar with the dog, your babies know how to behave with other dogs...perfect! Go for it!

| I honestly think three dogs is a lot harder than two. If you go on vacation two is manageable, three is a little more tricky. Finding someone to watch two dogs is easier also. I have two and when I watch my 'nephew' who is a Papillons I feel overwhelmed. I'd stick with two if it was me.

| And, welcome to YT Each person's situation is different and the question that you ask is a question that you yourself can only answer. I say if you have the time, space and are prepared for the additional expenses that would be incurred, then go for it! Who wouldn't want to be owned by a furry new edition?!?! I wish you the best...What ever your decision. |
