| Does a yorkies coat naturally part? Sorry, this is most likely a silly question. I am still getting used to having a little one that needs daily brushing. But I am worried that I am going to mess up his center part. I have a hard time getting it perfect and even, and usually brush the hair back and let it fall. Will I mess it up if I keep doing this? Or will it just center part on its own without to much help from me?

| Not always. Neither Chachi or Jewels hair parts on the head. On the body it does though

| Mine has a natural part but when I brush him I do so only at the ends. If you brush from the center down it bring his natural oils and makes him look greasy. I guess if you do mess your furbabies part you can always go back and part it again? Good luck

| His coat does part on the head, but only if I brush it that way...otherwise it just goes back. On his body, it always ends up parting. I just don't want to mess it up by brushing it back, but when he is wet, (or even dry for that matter) I always mess up the part. It comes out crooked, but falls back to straight when he shakes.

| Now that Buddy is finally showing that Yorkie part his does part on top of his head down his neck by itself but seems to stop at the shoulders. When I comb him it does come back but gets messed up again. I guess he needs to be longer. |

| Umas' parts naturally on the back and neck, but the poor baby doesn't have enough on top of her head to part. It just ends up going every which way!!!!
