My yorkie threw up Finnigen was laying on a blanket with me last night and out of nowhere he stood up and threw up. It was brown and green there was quite a bit.. it looked like all of his supper. And it almost looked like poop. He is 5 months old and eats Eukanuba small puppy bites and after his meals has a Nutrience breath freshner. Nothing was out of the ordinary. I was just wondering if this is normal or is he maybe getting sick. He is fine today!

I would say he's fine unless he does it again. He might have eaten more than he needed yesterday or if he ate grass, hair or anything like that, it might have made him a little nautious. Coco threw up after eating a long piece of my hair off the ground, so now I vacuum a lot. If he throws up again, call the vet. Take it easy on the food today. Hope the cutie feels better

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless it happens quite frequently in a row.... Annie throws once in awhile when she eats too much, or too fast, or eats something she shoudn't you gotta keep you're eyes on these little boogers nonstop

Thanks.. I went and got a bunch of dog care books from the library and called a friend of a friend who is a vet tech... he is my first puppy and only 5 months old. And much like with children (I have 3) you can never be too careful. He seems fine today but I've been limiting his activity. He gets nuetered next week so I hope he's not getting sick.

| Maybe it was poop. Charlie was eating his poop a lot... pretty much any time we couldn't remove it immediately. I know it's gross... but maybe your pup was "trying it out" and it didn't sit well. Who knows.
