No Longer a Member | Yorkie in the refrigerator???!!!! The other day, I received a pup pal request from a cutie pie yorkie at dogster. When I went to check out her site, I was shocked to see a picture of the puppy in the refrigerator. I don't know if it was done to be cute or what, but I am horrified by the picture. I just don't think it is funny or cute to put a small animal in a refrigerator. To me, it is animal cruelty. What do you think? Am I just being overly sensitive? http://www.dogster.com/dogs/487130 |

| I think I saw a photo contest where one of the winners was a cat sitting in a refrigerator. It was kind of comical because it looked kinda like a Garfield cat. I don't think the cat was hurt by this tho. Maybe this person was copying this cat photo. I don't think putting a little yorkie in the fridge is very cute tho.

| I think it's really odd. I would never do that....can't be good for your food and she could fall out really easy!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I agree with you. I like Yorkies. I like cute pictures. But a Yorkie in the fridge bugs me. Mainly for the sanitation issues. Who knows, though, maybe they were just starting to clean out the fridge. I hate to badmouth a possible YTer without knowing the whole story.

| I don't understand it either but you do get a good idea of the size of the puppy next to the carton of eggs. Just a thought - Adie is a climber and a very curious little thing. If I left the refrigerator door open she would be in and up the shelves in a New York minute. I suppose that the owner thinks this is cute but it is sure a scary thought! |

| I think it's sorta funny becuase you know how those little furrballs get into everything.. I always think it's funny where you find them rummaging for scraps of food ya know.. Or chewing on god knows what.. I think it's funny if the yorkie were to be rummaging through the fridge if it could do it on it's own.. but obviously it can't.. so it's a bit disturbing to stick your yorkie in the fridge?? Ya know.. unless some weird way it crawled up there by itsself? |
