Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | PRECIOUS: A Rescue Story that will melt you I have posted this elsewhere but it really touched me and I wanted to share it with other yorkie lovers ! I plan to send a small donation to help with Precious's vet bills...but, this is just a GREAT story ! I have actually heard from them as of today and received the best pictures of this baby...I will try to attach them here ... COPIED from earlier post... Beautiful, beautiful story about a puppy mill baby who was rescued - they thought she was a Chinese Crested...and she turned out to be a beautiful Yorkie ! what great people Precious now has in her life....talk about happiness & love... this baby really deserves all the spoiling possible ! Her story is here....http://www.geocities.com/arthurclarke2000/ I was so touched, after I finished boo hooing - I emailed them....and am going to send a few $$. I have to sneak on these sites now cause I'm banned from them by my husband... This is Precious AFTER all her surgery and love and care. and who right now only has 4 teeth all on the bottom - She is amazing, and if you see what she looked like and how sick she was - then see the now pictures...it will melt you ! http://www.imagevenue.com/host/web2/...4_Precious.jpg |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I forgot to add that I have heard from her new Mom...here is what she wrote... Hello Villette so nice to hear from you, This picture was taken just a couple of weeks ago, such a very special time for me, I felt she had forgiven me for putting her through all that very painful surgery. My greatest wish is that you could all meet Precious, she is such a friendly little girl, she will roll onto her back for every one to tickle her tummy, her little broken tail wagging furiously! For all the torture she has been through in her comparatively short life, she is very trusting once again, she adores children, hates cats! but funnily enough she loves birds, she brought one in a couple of weeks ago and dropped it very gently onto her bed! I have discovered she is terrified of cupboards, one time I was carrying her, wrapped in a towel, she had just been bathed, I wanted to get her hairbrush out of the cupboard, I opened the door to get the brush and oh my goodness she was terrified, she struggled so much to get away from me I almost dropped her, she shook with fear, which in turn made me cry, it really was terrible, we know begin to think she had been kept in a cupboard, and used as a breeding machine , so we never go near the cupboard now if she is in the room, I keep her brush elsewhere! Tim our vet has discovered she doesn't have 'Cushing's Disease' but has an underactive thyroid which will mean medication for the rest of her life, She is doing very well as you can see from the pictures, we feel she is our little miracle http://www.yorkiesdirect.com/forum/p...p?photoid=3945 Here is our vets address Tim Roe.M.A.VETM.B.,M.R.C.V.S and colleagues. | Now THAT'S even better news than the Red Sox winning the World Series! I will never understand animal cruelty and I will always be just awed by how wonderful the people are who mend the hurts. God bless the Clarkes. And God bless you for helping them! |
