| Just a thought... Interesting you should bring this up. Years ago, when I lived in a small garden home in another city I had an absolutely beautiful Pom. Had not lived there long, and had not yet gone to a local vet, was waiting until it was time to have him neutered .... although I had taken him to the local groomer 4-5 times. On my last visit there was a new girl that was asking me ALL sorts of questions about my little guy .... age, AKC, champion bloodlines, breeder, was going to use him as stud, etc. Dumb me, answered all of her questions ... then added it was time to have him fixed and said it was on my list to call the vet that week!! Two days later ... my beautiful Pom vanished, went out the doggy door and never came back. There was no way it could have gotten out of the sideyard, brick on 3 sides ... with a very good gate on the other. I talked to all the neighbors and searched for days .... I know in my heart, it was that girl from the groomer that came and snatched him. The next week I went and talked to the store owner, she was very sympathtic ... but protective of her employee. No one else besides my neighbors and the groomer ( who had my address) even knew he was there. I even called the police, but nothing could be proven. Only hope whoever took him will love him as much as wee did. But, back to the missing yorkies. I does sound like it could have been taken from your yard. I would try and get in touch with the owner of the other missing yorkie in your area. Send them a pm and see if you happen to share the same groomer, vet, trainer, etc... Stranger things have happened!! Yorkies are a hot commodity these days. |
