Donating YT 14K Club Member | Gia is gone Well, I found a couple that bought Gia tonight. They fell in love immediately! Even after I told them of her faults, they still wanted her. They aren't planning on breeding her. The lady has a yorkie that is 12 years old and she felt it was time to get a new one. I feel very satisfied with this couple. But, I am a little sad that she is gone. Both of her ears were standing up today. I gave them a copy of our pet quality contract, nutri-cal, puppy food, and her pink teddy bear blanket. Even though I only had her a week, I still miss her. She use to hop when she ran...cutest thing you ever saw! The lady was already taking pictures of her before they left so I know that they will spoil her as I have. It's never easy... |

Here is my original thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6456 I knew I wouldn't be able to breed her because I didn't want to pass her faults to her offspring. | |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | That had to be hard to do - I feel for you ...but it sounds like she went to a great home - Do you start all over again looking for a puppy now or have you found one ? I'm hoping I didn't miss that you found one already - this board moves fast ! |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | No, I haven't found a replacement. I think that I'm going to wait a bit. Not in any hurry. Eventually, I would like to get a black/gold female or even a male, but like I said, I'm going to take my time next time around! |

| I am glad you found Gia a home. I know that was a painful decision to make. I am glad it worked out for you and Gia.

| Sounds like gia will be spoiled in her new home. Sometimes breeders have to make decisions like that and it's not easy. I respect the fact that as a breeder you were looking to be resposible about what traits are being passed. . Thats why i could never breed i would be like the old women who lived in a shoe but instead of kids it would be puppies lol. |
