| Buster wont eat, should I be worried? I know how important it can be for a baby to be eating. Little buster a little over 9 weeks old, we brought him home on Saturday. On Saturday and Sunday he did great with eating, he was eating every hour or so, a little bit at a time. Today he really hasnt eaten at all. When we woke up at around 8am he had a little tiny bit to eat, maybe 10 peppbles of food. Its now 7:00pm and he hasnt really eaten since. I gave him 2 fingerfulls of Nutrical to keep his blood sugar okay. He took a nap with me for about an hour and a half, and as soon as he got up he pee'd and pooped in his designated area. But he still wont eat a thing. Am I being paranoid? What can I do to get him to eat. He is acting fine, running around playing with his toys and being full of energy. I am worried though |

| When we picked him up from the breeder he had the pups on Puppy Chow, but we had already purchased the big big of Eukanuba. So since saturday weve been mixing the food and hes been eating good. Its still mixed right now, puppy chow and eukanuba. He wont touch it. Should I get wet food for tonight only? I dont want him to get attached to it. |

| almost everyone on here mixes some wet food with the dry food. maybe you should soften the dry food up a little. put a little water and then some wet food. they say put 75% dry and 25% wet canned food and then put it in the microwave so its warm. try that. all i know is im mixing wet canned food and wet dry food together for mine and only making soo much so taht i know he is actually eating. but i leave some out at all times. or give him some rice and boiled chicken |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I know when I got Cali and she wasn't eating she went hypoglycemic and I had to give her chicken and cesars wet because she wouldn't eat anything else. Just try and make sure he is eating something. You can always switch food when he is a little bigger. You may want to have the vet check him as well to make sure he doesn't have a parasite. Good luck and I hope Buster feels better soon.

| maggie wouldn't eat anything at all when we got her but we bought a bag of royal canin and she went nuts for it. she loved it. i have to say, it does smell pretty good just do all you can to make him eat. my vet said baby foods such as chicken or beef. some people have told me cottage cheese. I have heard of boiled chicken and rice but maggie wouldn't touch that. don't let him over play especially if he is not getting nutrients that he needs. you have to be so careful with these little guys, especially as young as he is. we almost lost maggie, she was 11 weeks old and wouldn't eat. her blood sugar was so low, she was practically dead. we gave her some honey water and she bounced right back and I was bound and determined to make her eat. good luck to you. let me know what you find that works. try the royal canin puppy food. i bet he will like it.

| Thanks for the responses, and thank God he finally ate. I picked up a small packet of Eukanuba beef soft food and mixed in a little with his original food, I also went the dry food a little and warmed it up in the microwave. He instantly attacked his food bowl and scarfed down almost all of it. Hes doing great now, thanks everyone |
