| Housebreaking question Hi! I am new here...I am the proud owner of a 3 month old. Her name is Maggie. I am very happy to have found a place to read all this great informtion! I do have one question though... We are in the process of housetrainer her. Usually, she does really well going on the newspaper (we havent been able to take her outside yet since she hasnt had all of her shots). TOnight I had taken her to her spot and she went pee. then I put her back in her crate and about 10 minutes later she went in her crate! (she has never gone in her crate while I have had her which has been 3 weeks). What could have caused this? Did she just have to go again and decided she couldnt hold it? I am afraid our hardwork (hers and mine) in the housetraining process must begin again. Help!! |

| Welcome to YorkieTalk! We're glad you're hear and look forward to getting to know you and Maggie. I'm not sure why she would go in her crate. But I sure can tell you that they are NOT easy to housetrain. All will go so well for awhile, then it's like they forget or get stubborn and go whenever and wherever. However, like Kindness suggests, if she is peeing very frequently, I would ask the vet about it. |
