| My yorkie is on her PERIOD, is it ok for her.. My yorkie is about 7 months old and she on her first cycle. She usually play outside with my male 7 year old German shepherd. He has been spayed but my yorkie has not been neutered. This morning when I woke up, I saw my german shepherd trying to hump my little yorkie, but he was just trying, since I came out in time and smack some sense into him. Is it ok for her to play outside w/ the big dog when she's on her period even though my german shepherd has been spayed. Any advices would help greatly. I would prefer to keep her outside since my floor is made of expensive wood and I don't want her to mess it up when i'm at work. The 2 dogs have been get along very well!! Thanks, Jimmy |

| I am no experty by any means at all. But I personally would put her in a diaper of some kind and keep the big dog away from her.

| I think you should put a diaper on her and leave her in the house. Your GS may get too excited and hurt her. |

| If your big dog ties with that little Yorkie, it could kill her. Why is she not spayed? Any number of dogs can also climb any fence. You should never let her out unsupervised. Keep your big dog and her apart. |
