Wondering how many of us our out there? I posted on a thread about this, Then Thought about it and decided to start a new thread on it How Many Now Yorkie owners sleep on their side? Because you have maybe one Yorkie in the back fold of your knees and one tucked in front of your Tummy, And dare to move afraid to disturb them......So we lay so uncomfortable so our baby's can sleep. lol Fess up who are you? lol I know im one of them. I wake up wanting to roll over so bad, But I dont dare lol. And the need to strtch out my legs. Maybe that should be added to the Do you think you want a Yorkie? (All Yorkie Owners will sleep on one side.)LOL

When my dogs sleep with me, if I need to move, I will do it. Hey, they sleep all day long and if I "disturb" them, I'm okay with that. When they sleep with my mom however, she will not move an inch. It wakes her up and she cannot sleep, but she refuses to disturb them. Silly mom.

I have never slept w/my dogs, I'm afraid they'll have an accident on the bed, or fall off, or I'll crush them in my sleep. Does anyone else have these worries? When the cats come to bed, I will lay in the most uncomfortable position to accomodate them. When my limbs begin to fall asleep, I will move. Teresa

LOL that is funny. I just posted on myspace blog how my back is killing me because my furbabies take up the whole or bed or have me like a sardine. How can two little dogs rule my king size bed. But your right I love them so much and they are so cute I will sacrifice my back for them

| I tend to sleep on my side. If on my left side, (Gracie's favorite) gracie will curl up in my left arm pit and use my arm or shoulder (or boob!) as her pillow. If I roll over to my right side, she will curl up in the bend behind my knees. She is learning when I roll over, she better move or be squished! I don't worry too much about that, but I do tend to wake up and find out where she is before I roll over!

Yep, I have 10 of them in bed with me and they are everywhere. On top of me in front, behind, under the covers, on top on the covers, laying across my neck, on my pillow. I dont get too much sleep and when they sleep with me I am miserable because of allergies. I dont think I am allergic to them but they play outside alot and its the stuff they bring in on their fur I think. My husband works at night so the dogs get to sleep in the bed but when he is home, only 4 get to sleep with us. I keep telling myself I am going to start making them sleep in the kennels but then I see how sad they look when I start picking them up to put them to bed and break down and let them sleep with me instead. I like having them there to snuggle with. Better than any electric blanket for sure.

I sleep with Missie stretched out against my front (her head goes on my pillow or next to it) and my Chi mix curled up somewhere behind me or at my feet. Now, my Chi mix HAS fallen off the bed, but the covers on his side are tucked in, so he just fell into the pocket of covers beside the matress. It was his fault because he was pushing off of me with his legs against my back. LOL He actually fell off 3 times that night, but it hasn't happened since then. There were pillows all on the floor on his side anyway, so he wouldn't of been hurt regardless. I definitely wouldn't have it any other way (ok, except maybe a bigger bed, because we are getting a Greyhound soon and us 3 sleep in a twin. lol!). They are the best body warmers, and waking up to their little bed heads is a crack up.
