| Wish me luck! I finally decided to tape Allie's ears. I hope they stand up, she just looks so much happier with perky ears. I used red tape so they REALLY stand out

| WOW they really did perk up didn't they?! I shaved her ears last week in hopes that that would get 'em up but nope. I've also been messaging her ears when she is in my lap for more circulation and still no.

| Bear is 5 months old now and i kept shaving and taping his ears and they would only stay up for a day Then last week i cut out ear shaped pieces from a paper towel roll and taped it to his ears and they are standing up very nice now but maybe it was time for them to stand up and not the taping |

| we tried the massaging and shaving the ears and it just didn't work for us. so we taped them for 24 hours and it worked like a charm. Hope it works out for you guys!!! you will have to post some pics.

| Well I'm back. Her ear was really perked but now they are both down again it only stayed up for a few hours. She didn't seem to mind the taping one bit, so I think I'm going to try again tomorrow. Or should I just let them be?

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...98&postcount=7 leave it for anywhere from 24 hours to 3 days. no longer than 3 days. 24 hours did it for my maggie and her ears were completely droopy. I am sure it will work but you may just need to leave it longer and make sure the hair is shaved.

| Taylor's ears were taped by the breeder when we got him at 9 weeks, and we left it on for 2 days. After removing the tape they stood up and were perky for about another 3-4 days then folded over again. About a month later we taped him again for a couple of days and when the tape was removed...one was standing and the other was partially standing. We decided to just wait and see. Taylor's other ear stood up finally so both are fine. I would have loved him even if they never stood up...but I have to say that I think the taping helped. |
