| 8-10 Yorkies Pictures/Comments We spoke to a breed today, and we may be getting a yorkie that the breeder anticipates to be 8-10 pounds at full growth. What do people think about this? I would think it's probably better, that way the yorkie isn't as fragile. Does anyone have any pictures of this size yorkie? |

| My Allies mom was 8.5 pounds. I estimate her being about that too. Which is perfect for us because of all my kids. Sorry she is still a pup so no pictures. I think 8-10 pounds is a nice size

| If you are just looking for a pet, 8 -10 lbs is fine. I get people who want them that size for pet for that very reason, they aren't so fragile, can enjoy a good walk and are still a very small dog. |

| This is my 10 lb yorkie, Toto. I am very happy with his size. I don't have to worry so much about stepping on him or him hurting himself or breaking a leg when he jumps off the furniture. He's one tuff little dog.

| I think a 10 lb. yorkie would be GREAT! I have a 16 lb. boy who I dearly love and a 4 1/2 lb. girl who is SUCH a baby..... 10 would be great, I think!

| Me too! I recommend the teapot size. I have a 5# and a 10#. She is very solid but still seems tiny. In reality, 10# is still very small. But unless you are super woman, teapots are not meant for carrying around alot. But because she is larger, I feel secure letting her run around and be a rambunctious brute. She is great pet size!

| I agree. I can really get tired carrying Reesie around. Last time I was at the Vet's office I saw a pet sling so I bought it. Wow! If Reesie even catches a glimse of this she's all over me. She likes for me to walk around the house carrying her around in it. I didn't really buy it for that but she's spoiled and knows it. Our little 3 1/2 pounder has her purse that she just loves. |

| My little Wookie is 8.4 And honestly, he seems pretty small to us. He doesn't look 8 lbs at all. But I do have to say, some people (uneducated).. make comments about Wookie not being full yorkie because he's larger. Some girl at Petsmart the other day asked me if I was sure Wookie was full breed because her precious yorkie is only 4 lbs. But, I think Wookie is perfect size. I was told he shoudl be around 5 lbs.. yeah that didn't happen. I dont know if these photos help, but he's sitting in my boyfriend's lap. |

| I've had alot of people ask me if Reesie is a Yorkie. They think she is a silky because of her size. He daddy was 6 lbs and her momma was 9 lbs so I didn't know what I was going to get. I didn't care. It was love at first sight. |
