| Is This Normal? Snickers will be one at the end of this month & has always been good at going to the bathroom where he is supposed to (litter box) until the last couple of weeks. So......is he just marking?? or is it common for a relapse at this age? I did a search trying to find out if marking will stop if I get him neutered...but I need more input please If he's already started marking is it too late for neutering to help? |

| My 2 male yorkies will be 1 yr old in 2 weeks and one of them has relapsed on his housetraining. They are both neutered and had been doing great for the last couple of months. I don't know what's up with my little Dylan. I'm sure it will pass though. |

| Thanks for the reply......Of course I'm hoping for responses that neutering will stop the marking......He's driving me nuts with it. I guess I'm gonna have to get his crate out for a refresher course. |

| I think by nuetering him the marking will not be as much. I believe if a male is nuetered by six months it is much better because the habit has not yet started. Buddy has never marked, however, when my daughter's pug visits he does and it makes me nuts! They are the same age 3 this month and were both fixed at 6mos. I guess it depends on the dog. Good luck.
