| sad neighborhood dog there is an adorable dog in my neighborhood. his owner died. his children are caring for the dog in his home. the poor dog looks so sad. it's been at least 6 months since his owner passed. do u think he still remembers? i give him milk bones and say prayers for him all the time. it breaks my heart.

| I believe that they remember. When my Mom died in July, my son't border collie and Toto were so sad. Toto wandered and sniffed looking for her but poor Missy lived with her, lay outside her door to say good morning, stayed near her all day and said good night every night. Missy even saved her life once by alerting Cindy that something was wrong .... she had a GI bleed and we almost lost her! Missy is some better, but I really worried that she would grieve herself to death. But .... yes, I absolutely believe that they remember!
